fantastic stay!!!
hotel location security measures
The hotel location is super convenient for exploring. i loved the security measures in place. all staff members were helpful and kind. I felt safe and welcome. the entire experience was top notch!
The bar didn't have any music one night. I'm sure it was an exception! i hope next time there is live music.

the pool area features twenty loungers offering comfortable seating. i noticed the gym includes three treadmills, two stationary bikes, and weight machines for varied workouts. a shaded section by the pool helps protect guests from direct sunlight.

historic stay
delicious meal great service
max greeted us at the valet and was amazing. our host checked us into our room and they were warm. hawthorn served us a good meal with great service and the music was also nice.
the restaurants and lounges aren't as good as other properties. there was only one option and it was full with outside guests. we couldn't use it.

the hotel location is excellent, close to stephen avenue, with only a few minutes walk from 17th avenue. stampede grounds are accessible by foot, and the conference centers are similarly reachable.

the rooms are spacious with very comfy beds, but the bathrooms need updates. bathrooms are small and have an old style, which does not match the rest of the room.

in-room dining was quick and efficient with prompt service. the hawthorne restaurant provided great service with its dining options. i found the food to be really delicious.

fantastic bed booked location
the bed was fantastic. the bathroom has a weird layout, with the toilet almost on top of the actual door. there is not much room for your legs but it is ok if you are a child.
the lounges are not as good as other properties. i only had one option for location and it was fully booked with outside guests, so i could not use it.
